Brenda M. Warren

Managing Business Partner

Brenda M. Warren, was born and raised in Sparta, Hancock County and is a product of the Hancock County Public School System. She is a graduate of Tuskegee University with a degree in Business Administration. She received her Masters Degree in Business Education and her Administration & Supervision Degree from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Georgia. She spent most of her career teaching in the Public School System of Hancock County. However, in August of 1996, the Lord led her to Sandersville, Georgia where she was employed as Administrative Office Technology Instructor and Internship Coordinator for six years. In 2000, she was promoted to the position of Director of Operations for the Sandersville Technical College Hancock Campus, which is now the Oconee Fall Line Technical College; where she worked diligently to help make Hancock County a better place to live by preparing the citizens of Hancock County for workforce development. Being led by God—she retired from the College in June 2008, but continued to serve as an Adjunct Instructor, teaching Microsoft Word and Excel Certification classes, live and online for the college. Currently, she is fully retired, except for her work for the kingdom of God as a licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel. She is currently a faithful member of the Living Word of God Church, Milledgeville, GA, where she serves as Assistant Pastor to her brother, Pastor Ralph McMullen.

She married the late Mr. Jimmy L. Warren, and is mom to Crystal, Marlon, Joy and Monique. As much as she loves her children, her pride and joy are her grands and great grandchildren.

Brenda became the Managing Business Partner at Warren Brothers after the passing of the late Elmer & Jimmy Warren. She felt a deep passion to keep the Legacy of Warren Brothers Mortuary alive. Our Motto “Live, Love, Legacy” embraces the rich Warren family legacy in Hancock County. Under her leadership, she completed Phase I of the renovation project, which included completely restoring the inside of the funeral home. Plans are underway for continued renovation as the business continues to grow.

Philippians 3:13-14

“. . . I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind me, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus!”
