CARL RAYMOND BAKER was born on June 25, 1957, in Augusta, Georgia, to the late Fraancis Youngblood and James Baaker, Sr. He peacefully passed away at his home in Sparta, Georgia on October 12, 2026  and was called to eternal rest. He was called to eternal rest by God leaving behind a life of love and beautiful memories.

Carl was a reserved man who loved carpentry and plumbing work. He had a wonderful sense of humor. and enjoyed making people laugh. He leaves to cherish his memories: one son, Demerius DeShawn Baker; five sisters, Brenda Clark, Forsteen Castleberry, Margaret Jean Baker, Marian Allen Baker and Carolyn Marie Baker; three brothers, James Baker, Sr., Sanford Lee Baker, and Anthony Maron Baker; one grandson and a host of nieces, nephew and friends.
